A great new grammar tool I have found and my students are using is NoRedInk. This great web tool allows teachers to set up classrooms and assign students various grammar exercises. Students sign in with their Google Apps account and then the teacher can track how students do over time.
The key feature I really love is that it is a self-paced course in grammar. It gives each student a series of questions, they get the chance to answer, if they get it right, great, move on to the next question! If not, NoRedInk provides the student with a tutorial about that particular part of grammar and the student gets the chance to answer the question again to try and get the right answer. The teacher can track how many attempts a student took to get the right answer within the dashboard.
It is truly a tool that puts the power to learn in the student's hands.
